Michelle Douglass

Senior Podcast Producer, National Trust

Michelle loves spinning a good yarn, and thinks the best way to fire up the imagination is through sound. Luckily, making the National Trust Podcast is all about taking listeners on an immersive journey around the UK’s many fascinating places. Highlights have included ghost-hunting in wonky Tudor houses; midnight pond-dipping in search of the waterboatman’s singing penis, and battling blizzards on winter mountain hikes. Michelle previously worked as a digital and radio producer at the BBC and a freelance entertainment writer. She lives in Bristol with her family and dreams of getting a cat.
